Still Missfiring!

Hi guys hope yous can help me out,so the problem is my car started missfiring around 4500/5000rpm so bought some superspark coil packs (bad idea) car ran perfect after that for the day then all of a sudden missing through the whole rev range really bad so put my old coil packs back in and ran fine only missed at the higher revs then I put my mates coil packs in that arent missing and ran fine at first now it misses a little here and there,and also noticed my boost gauge was showing 11psi at about 6500rpm could it be overboosting? Its only got fmic,straight through exhaust.any ideas? Thanks

Prehaps clean AFM, Ensure you dont have any cooler pipes which are leaking (if u have loss power)

Dont screw around with any other coils other than spitfire and get a nice set of sparkys.

Yeah I got irridium plugs not long ago and def. Will get splitfire coils. I also noticed last night that it doesnt miss at all if I slowly accelarate in 2nd until the limiter. Only does it when I flatten it instantly

Have u changed the spark plugs? Try bkr6es make sure they are gapped to .8mm.

And buy some splitfire coilpacks

Yeah I put new ones in not long ago il check the model numbers because I still got the box but im fair sure its the ones you said above^^

Hey mate, see how you go with new plugs gapped correctly, if not, open the bonnet at night and look in the coil valley with the cover off, I had a similar issue and the faulty coil pack showed up straight away, flashing when earthing out through hairline crack. If you pull the bad one out you should be able to see

an area of discoloration (rainbow on black) where the spark was earthing to.
