cant turn climate control off

I have a 1992 R32 GTR and am having problems with the climate control. Ive never used it in the past except for about 2 times. Last night I acidentally bumped the aircon button and the unit turned on, and when I went to turn it off... it wont turn off. Basically all the buttons next to the screen (off and manual) will not work when pressed. I have searched the forums, but havnt really been able to find anything to do with this problem.

Is there any easy way to fix or just keep pushing the button and hope it works? I really dont want to have to pull it out

never heard of this - its really not tha thard to take out (well in the 33 its not i can't imagine it being any harder in the 32)

it just has 1 plug - you could try to get another one second hand and plug it in (100 bucks or so?) if that still doesn't work then could be wiring?
