if it was on a forum then don't trust it too much. probably either lying about mods, or bought the car with mods and doesn't know it (person he bought it off might've bought the car with mods)

and a clutch dump is only good if you have sticky tyres. if you don't then you are best off riding the clutch a bit.

That's why I said big sticky tyres AND a clutch dump...

Edit: It was also someone that I'd met a few times before, I was more looking for confirmation on the time.

Bit of an update, turns out the SSS's cat had collapsed and was restricting it heavily on its runs. Now running a decat and adjustable camgears and will be going for another run
