Out With The Rb20Det In With The Rb25Det

Hey all im runnin an rb20det in my 32 currently and thinking about putting in an rb25det. whats the things needed to do for the motor swap? Is it a drop in and loom job or more involved?

if you run the 25 box then you need to change speedo sensor (can't remember what exactly needs to be done but the rb20 runs a mechanical speedo and the rb25 is electronic).

essentially it is just a drop the engine in and the loom, but there is a fair bit of dicking around with getting the wiring sorted. if really pushing you could get it knocked over in a weekend, but that would be some long days.

I think I was reading the last r32's to come out had rb25det in them but it was only a very small number of them for testing I think. I have worked out the 25 have a few extra sensors so u will need the wiring loom computer and 33 box. The mounts r the same
