Just sold my gtc's and im thinking of buying a set of work cr kais that are 17 x 9 + 17 on 215/40 tyres all round, my question is what tyres should i run on the rears an front when i get them because i have a feeling that 215 tyres are gonna be a bit small as im after that flush look , also let me know what you fink of the size , keen for some stretch aswell ,

Please gimme your thoughts sau!

These with 235 tyres all round will look nice

stretch has a few pro's... clearance, stiffining the sidewalls of cheapass tyres, cosmetic

There are no "pros"

Sidewalls which are not perpendicular are weakened not strengthened. The reason they are illegal is not because they look silly (that's a matter of opinion) but because they are not safe.

err, go slide on a $40 chinaspec 235 on the correct fitting rim, and then on a 10" rim then come back and tell me that.

now personally I dont run seriously stretched tyres myself (maybe 1 size less than legal min, but within manufacturer specs), but you can't dispute facts. when you go to a drift day and plan to kill 4 odd tyres, they aint gonna be AD08's, they are gonna be cheap crap that has a sidewall like a spongecake,
