Decreasing Boost

Hi, just wondering if there is a was to lower the standard boost level on the rb20. Since the car had exhaust and fmic fitted the boost has increased to 11psi at the lowest point, is there any way to lower this further?

There's no way to lower the boost below the standard actuator point (7psi at the actuator). why don't you want 11psi?

The stock r32 wastegate is 10psi

Bit with a full exhaust it will usually got to 11-12psi

So no you cannot lower it

OP you could by an rb25 wastegate and stick that in instead that would lower your boost

as above, no you can't. but then there is no real reason to. it is perfectly fine to run that extra 1psi of boost. it won't cause any problems.

If you want to run less boost just drive accordingly.

Something less than full boost? Never heard of it.
