Hey folks,

I'm mocking up a front brake upgrade for a corolla at the moment. I've got some R33 hubs so I can do a cad drawing I'm just needing some old brakes to see if it will work / how well it is going to mount up. Undersize thickness rotors are fine as long as they're the 296 diameter type not the 280. Anybody got their old brakes sitting around they want to get rid of? I'm in Melbourne northern suburbs and willing to pick them up.

Any help appreciated, cheers.

Paul.

Thanks for the offer dori34 but I'm chasing the 296mm diameter rotors not the 324mm. It's only going to be stopping a 900kg Corolla after all.

PJ-33 you have PM.

Judging by the DBA site what I can gather is the non turbo 34 has the 296 diameter rotor but the turbo version has 310mm. Are yours from a turbo or non turbo? can you measure? Also if you've got a vernier to measure the thickness that will help determine what I'm willing to pay. Minimum thickness is 28mm so if they're anything around that size I will not offer a lot but if it's closer to the original 30mm thickness I will pay accordingly...

I have a full set of R33 GTS-T rotors for sale if you're interested. They are perfectly good to use though, so I'd be chasing a price appropriate. Let me know if you're interested.
