Hey everyone,

It has been so long since I have been here, sorry I am returning with a question!!

I wonder if anyone can help with a reasoneably easy one! I hope!!

Is anyone aware of the measurements required for the aiming of R33 Headlights, Low and High Beam?

If no one knows measurements, has anyone been successful with this task, and how did it work?

Stephen

Yeah I need to know the same thing. Except its for a R32. When I flash my highbeams, I swear it's like i'm using spotlights trying to find possums in the trees. (happened on mountain run, caught reflection of possum's eyes in tree, but absolutely no sign of the road)

They are so out of alignment.

Well, the way I usually do it-with my vl, is park it about 10m or so on a flat piece of land, with the lights aiming at a flat wall, i get in the car and see where they are aiming.. ideally i want them like.. _

the left light to be upwards and little to the left, and the right to be slightly downwards and straight.. its personal preference i guess, auto electricians have a chart that they use to aim it at.. i just go by what i like..

obviously consider the drivers ont he road.. but i definately think upwards on the left, seeing on the gutter and along the gutter, and right, well along the road, doens't have to point at edges or too far ahead.

good luck

chris
