Immobiliser

Hi all ok so I have made the school boy error when filling out the licensing form. Instead of ticking yes my van has an immobiliser I ticked noSo now I have to get one fitted. I was just wondering is it possible for me to fit it myself and for it all to be above board and all. Any help would be so appreciated as I'm planning to back pack over Australia and obviously money is a little tight.

if you are somewhat handy then yes you can fit it yourself.

Ahh that's good news thanks for the info, but they say I have to provide receipts to show its fitted, do you know how I go about that or do I just sign there disclaimer saying tha I fitted it
