S2 Audio Unit Install

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and have just purchased my first Stagea. A fine example, with only 80,000km's, mostly stock, apart from TEIN Superwagon coilovers and Jap cat-back exhaust.

I have done a search and have been unable to find an answer to my problem.

The issue I have is that my Stag has the Xanavi unit with factory radio/cassette mounted underneath. As you all will know, the Xanavi has a built in CD player.

I have just purchased a Pioneer MVH-8250 which, consequently does not play CD's.

So, I was wondering if, in the process of wiring up my new unit, there is a way to retain the CD player function of the Xanavi when using an aftermarker head unit?

This is not essential, but it would be great to keep Xanavi semi-functional since it's capabilities in Aus are very limited, ie: sat-nav, etc....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a dvd player to put in the spot of the radio and run the video to the AUX in the boot and play it to the front screen.

Got the same problem , installed a tv unit but cant hear audio , got to find audio input on the stereo and all will work fine
