R33 Gtr Series 1 To Series 2 (Coil Pack Loom) Urgent! Help!

Hi Gents,

so figured out that i have R33 S1 coilpacks and loom and ended up buying splitfires S2 coilpacks which dont fit.

Question that I have now is if I get S2 loom will that work with R33 GTR S1 igniter?

I heard someplace that S2 has igniters built into coilpacks?

Or, should i simply repin my S1 loom and modify plugs slightly to fit on these S2 splitfires? Will that even work??

Please help!!!!! car is down and can get it started without this!

No it wont work with the ignitor..

But you will be able to eliminate the ignitor and use the S2 coils by rewiring it yourself (if you are capable).

I have done this myself and it was successful. The pins are the same colour between models so its an easy job withouth a diagram.
