Redline Fuel System Cleaner

Hi people,

Was just reading some info on redline products and saw some interesting claims about their fuel system cleaner- increased power, increased fuel economy 12% and better......etc.....has anyone had a good experience with this product?

I did search first, but couldn't find any threads on this.

most fuel system cleaning products are a bit of a gimmick. if you want to see gains then change your filter and have your injectors removed and professionally cleaned.

You can have just the same and cheaper result with 16 fl oz. of paint grade acetone on a near empty tank on every oil change. But nothing beats what mad082 suggested.

acrylic thinners also effective too when used like this ^^^

can anyone recommend a fuel injection specialist in brissy? i have a set which id like checked, tested, flowed etc.

i think that a lot of mechanic workshops can do it. don't think they need to be a specialist. again, they are something that is used in lots of cars (different types, but same principles) so any decent workshop with the gear should be able to sort it out for you.
