Ok got the wheel stud changed tonight, filled up the jerry cans and then realised I have left my helmet at my parents house down near phillip island (2 hours opposite direction) DAMMIT!!

Has anyone else got a spare helmet I could borrow for some cash? I got a largeish head so L or XL normally. Otherwise I will have to pull the pin dammit.

Good to hear no trouble, hope everyone had wide brimmed straw hats! I had a small gap while stood at the BBQ and the sun found it!

I'm itching to get out again but even if I didn't have brake issues would have struggled to get to this with it being a big family day.

Mate it was sunny all day and 35deg ish. Nothing like melb was.

Paul and Kat...errrr exceeded the melting point of their brake pads, as did Chris in the ///M. All had to have a rest for a little bit.

I blew a water hose, Rob blew some studs in the exhaust manifold (leaking gas). Chris sent the RSR's to their grave. Scott mowed the grass.

Dion was blowing oil and leaking boost via the BOV.

Still was a good day with all of us there.

Looking at the ind. laps on Natsoft - Kat got an actual 1:52 in the second session - not just me running around with her dorian - she is stoked for her first outing at the track!!

Double entered cars on hots days = no dice. Our tyres were only good for the first full lap before they started getting mushy - but couldn't drop pressures for fear of delamination. However saying that if I had put some decent brake fluid in on Wed night the silly little car would have performed flawlessly given the conditions.

Look forward to hitting Winton again on a more moderate day.. and in a Skyline!
