Thanks titan just bought the controller that my tuner recommended found 1 for a decent price so i jumped on it :thanks:

basic open loop or full closed loop control, will require dyno time to setup all the fiddly settings to get closed loop working 100% but once set it takes care of boost drops/spikes itself.

Im putting your predictions to the test mate im gunna get yavus to push it as much as my fuel system can cope but safely of course haha :worship:

On flex too? ;) Man I would be tuning on caltex flex if it was available at more than 3 servos in the freaking state...

I rekon on flex and 30psi you would be waking up to a wholeee newww wooorrlldddddd :3some:

push the thing up there anyway, see what happens :P

1/4 of the price of a profec as you only need a basic MAC valve, doesnt require any extra gadgets in the cabin, does gear specific boost/ramp corrections, intake temp corrections (eg intake temp 80c = reduced boost), water temp corrections (engine water temp of 110c = reduced boost)

why you wouldn't use it is beyond me.

yeah on the flex  im lucky that 1 of the 3 servos is a km away from me just dunno if the 850's will take 25-30psi with E85 but ill have to wait and see huh.

You are gunna be the 1st 1 to know my results Jase :P

Haha love it! cant wait

If caltex does a better roll out of that stuff ill be onto it quick smart! Somebody needs to contact their marketing dpt and inform them of how immensely popular that crap is with performance folk

I would hate to cart my car all the way to wakefield for a track day only to run out of flex half way thru the day :(

Whats an HKS controller worth?

Id sell it and buy the G4 solenoid. Its dirt cheap ($100NZDish) and works a charm!

Closed loop boost control is fantastic. As mentione can take some setting up, but once it works its brilliant.

I wired mine into the stock boost control solenoid loom in the bay, then just set the input. Done.Took 10 mins to install :)

But of coruse, if its all up and running.. leave it be.
