R32 Gtr + Mods-How Much Power Output?

Hey Deano, what specs and how much boost you running with your car to get the power you have?

I have since phoned the Turbo place that rebuilt the turbo's for the previous owner of my GTR, and The guy said from memory they are Genuine HKS/N1? 707160-5005S -5's???? is the part number he said. No idea what that is since I don't know much on turbo's. But apparantly a search comes up and says there Garrett Turbo GT2860R. So Im guessing 18-19 psi is definately safe for them? Is there anyway for me to tell what turbo's they are. Like shining a light down there to see a part numer to confirm this? I'll be fair excited if they are!!

You have to take the intake piping out of the way to be able to see down to the turbo's.

that sounds like a painful experience lol. No way to use a LED and a mirror or anything>? has any been able to idenify there turbo's on a GTR without removing everything??

I tried and failed . Tried getting my hand down there and taking photos. Hahais all I have to say

if the motor is in the car there is absolutely no way of seeing the numbers sorry you have to pull a turbo off

Hmm, I'd really like to find out what turbo's they are I heard you can remove some intakes pipes and get a mirror & light down there? or pay a mechanic to try find the numbers lol.

Thats what ive had since 1998.... The mods are written on left edge. Except a twin plate clutch

Std turbo's, i imported this car myself in 1998, its a 1997 R33 V-spec had 2800kms, even had that new car smell. And still have it 1.4b (20psi), but day to day was never above 1.2b (17)
