Toowoomba is good and has heaps of nice cars, but the bloody idiots dont go cruising on a saturday night.

Thursday night is the big one up there, friday/saturday they all just go get drunk and start fights.

Oh well, the road up there is good for uhm leisurely cruising at or below the posted speed limit taking due consideration for potential hazards on the road ahead...?

The Mt.Neebo / Mt.Glorious run is really good. As long as those two wheeled tools stay in their own lane. Good coffee shop up their for a pit-stop as well.

except....there is a regular police presence there...especially on weekends

I speak from experience.....a 3 point experience :D

And not everyone who rides a bike up there rides like a tool either. You should try being on a bike, minding your own business, when a car or four comes around a corner in your lane... has happened to me a couple of times.

Please think before making stupid comments like that.

yamutha33, I know what you mean regards cops. You just have to chose your times carefully. I won't say here in a public forum. Also a new cop has transered into the Samford area who apparently "would book his own mother rushing to hospital".

Revhead, sorry you are right, there are also tools in cars who come around blink corners in your lane, I have seen this. But no, my comment was not stupid as anyone who goes up there should be fully aware of the risks, and they are mostly bikes, coming around corners in your lane.

    • I’ve been considering one of these screens too, but I've heard mixed reviews about the software responsiveness. Some say it's great, while others mention lag issues. Before pulling the trigger, I'd check out a few recent user experiences to see if the latest models have improved.
    • Kaizo Industries put a VIN plate over where the Nissan plate would go. It was part of how they broke the law and attracted feds going after them.
    • Reasonably hard, although I haven't run it with the new Endless setup yet. The old brakes were F50's on 335mm rotors and the car did a 1:40.6 at Phillip Island which is a reasonable time, I'm seeing high 600s on the temperature paint. A guy I know ran the Endless fluid at WTAC without issues and he was doing 1:33's I think (Evo) with a 355/332 setup. I don't get out to the track as much as I'd like but we put the car on the hoist and spanner check every bolt and re-paint mark everything, bleed the brakes, change the fuel, check the coolant system and re-bleed blah blah blah before every event. Motorsport is expensive, RB's are expensive so a couple of hours before an event is time well spent. It's also a net time saving because if you can keep your RB from self destructing it saves you time in the long term!
    • Welcome Alice......hope you have a bit more luck from here on! What was done in the build?
    • Hello! I'm new here, I have an R33 GTST that is currently being finished up! Last year was pretty rough, blew two stock turbos so I decided to build the car. Has been down since November, but I get it back next weekend!
