Hi to all, I've returned to SAU after numerous years off actually its been so long I cant remember my old user name hence the new one. I'm from Broken Hill NSW and have a 1993 R33 GTST recently rejuvenated with a $9000 gun metal respray. I've had the car for 4 years now and am very happy with it the only gripe was an expensive A/C compressor replacement. Mods are minimal with 18 inch Advan T6's, stainless 3 inch exhaust, sports wheel and air filter. After two Commodores I'm very impressed with the Skylines rolleyes.gif

    • R12 has not been not available for....decades now. Propane is not a great replacement. (I mean, it's a great replacement, but it is a bit too flammable). R134a being the only way to go forward with an R12 system. The design pressures etc, are close enough to R12's to work. The ability to move heat around is close enough to R12's to work.
