Ive been reading about the adaptronic ECU. It doesn't say much about knock control, but you do have a headphone socket which you can plug in headphones to listen to knock with. It looks pretty awesome, it can do everything I need it to and because Ive got a HG turbo, I get it cheaper.

yeah plus it has the built in MAP, so you dont need to buy one seperatly like LINK..Its an awesome unit, HG uses one now too..

Probably the only downfall of the ADptronic is it runs wasted spark config for 6 cylinders, the Link has full sequential but I dont think it matters enough to warrant concern..

@ full price I would be tempted to go link but at HGs budget price its a winner..

Their website didn't really say anything about that. Doesn't matter anyway, I really doubt the wasted spark is going to half the life span of my coils. Its not like you run out of spark, its generally heat and age that kills them(I got brand new OEM coils).

Does that mean with this ECU, you can run 3 coils to run cylinders?
