Hey guys,

I've just spent a few hours searching the forums for answers and can't find a definite answer.

I have an early model Cefiro RB20DET Auto from 1988. Currently it has a stock Auto Cefiro ECU, so all is good.

What I want to know, is the R32 Auto ECU a direct swap for the Cefiro Auto ECU? From what I've gathered, wires (pinouts) may be different... Is this true, anybody know for sure?

I'm asking because I'm about to do a remap using a NIStune board, and its developers have told me they are having trouble with Ceffy ECUs. They said the best thing to do would be to swap it over for a R32 ECU and go from there.

I was always under the impression the ECUs aren't a straight swap.

Thanks for any help
