Yeah, when i went to get rego the lady didn't seem to know about imports, and she tried to get a vehicle ID check or something which it turned out (after a few minutes on the phone to Dickson) that she didn't need. Oh and when you go to get rego, you have to pay a $61 fee for first time registering a vehicle.

Don't you love the government and all the hidden charges and hassles just to get a car on the road?

Also, some places make a bracket which brings the number plate out past the front of the bar. I've still got tin plates, so i just cut the tin plate shorter so it fits in the bar.

i just used longish bolts and a bunch of washers to bring it out, worked a treat!

yea thats what i have done till my slimline plates are made... hopefully soon but i doubt it
