Diff Workshop Recommendations?

Hi guys,

My project involves putting a 4.11CW&P onto an S15 helical centre into an R32 housing. Three diffs are gutted, useful parts put together. But the setup of the diff is troublesome.

My mechanic has stuffed around for a few hours and hasn't been able to get it set up right with the various thickness washers he has available. It's time for it to go off to a diff workshop to get set up so he stops wasting time on it.

I'm just looking for any recommendations for trustworthy diff shops in Adelaide who won't charge like wounded bulls. My mech usually takes stuff to SA Race when he has to, and I'd be happy to use them, but input from others who have used any other diff shops will be appreciated.

Hi Ryan, My mech knows what he's doing, but he has a limited supply of different thickness washers to get the CW&P right. After stuffing around with what he had available he declared it to be time to stop wasting time and get it done by someone who can go straight to the answer instead of going round and round. My last contact with him was an sms on wed arvo. I'll have another chat with him direct tomorrow, and I'll get back to you if he thinks your help will help, if you know what I mean. You mech doesn't know a decent diff/tranny guy?

The guy I use in WA charges $200 to swap a centre and set it up.

Well he does.....but they're a race trans and diff shop with no need to give me nice pricing! It's a shame that over the last few years, the nearby diff shops that were trustworthy have all shut up. There were two or 3 and now there's not so many choices. I was just looking for some fresh options.
