Gday guys,

Just bought myself a orange r32 GTS-t after looking for a decently priced gtr for ages with no luck so this is a car for short term. Having some minor issues. Car is currently driving, turbo seems to be working can hear spool and everything. But once boost kicks in acceleration drops instead of gains, seems going from 3000 revs and up takes aaaaages. was told by previous owner timing was retarded, however have fixed that and still no luck.

Could this be a boost leak somewhere? its feeling veeeery sluggish atm. coilpacks? got spitfires in there already but who knows, spark plugs cause this? timing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated to ease my concerns of low compression...

if it was coils then you would hear it misfiring.

sounds like it is most likely either going to be an issue with the AFM or with the CAS. if the CAS is dodgy then it will be backing the timing off. if it is the AFM then it may be either making it run super rich or super lean. there is a small chance there is a leak in the cooler piping somewhere, making it run rich as well. there is also a small chance you have an issue with the exhaust, with either there being a leak in the manifold (most likely caused by some broken exhaust studs), or the cat converter has collapsed. try banging on the cat and if you get a rattling sound then the cat is stuffed.

dear imo, cause u can pick a 25 up for around $1,500 so thats $4,500 to install it when there wouldnt be much in it, engine would line up in same spot ur gear box would mount to the back of the 25, it just the wiring and again wouldnt be that hard for and auto elec
