What Cams Are These? Are They Std?

G'day guys,

First thread of my own as I haven't really needed to start one, Search isn't to bad on here, always found what I wanted to know.

Anyways, Pulled the cam cover off and got some pictures. To me they look OEM, but not having seen a set before, who am I to say.

This is what they look like, are they standard RB26?

i think the only way to find out if they are standard would be to go off any markings on the cams that may provide a part number or brand. other than that you would need to pull them out and measure the lift and duration. very few people will be able to tell you whether they are stock or not simply by looking at the pictures, since the difference in size will be a matter of fractions of a millimetre.

Ok thanks mate, The only markings I could see are in the Pictures. One was a cast number that was like 28 or something and the A26*** part number on the rear face, also in the pictures. Would there be brand stamping/part # behind where the Camgears are bolted to the cam?

there may not be any brand stamping on them.

what makes you think they may not be the stock cams?

I was told they were A/M.

Got a set of calipers? Measure the lift by subtracting the two dimensions in this picture. The stockers are 8.58mm IN, 8.28mm EX.

My stock ones dont have any marking on them like yours so maybe they are aftermarket.

I spotted the Stamping on the back it reads A2691N?

Re-Measured the Lobe/BC, came up with 9.05 ...

Just googled the Part #. They read to be Pomcams.
