Rb25 Breather Fittings

Hey all,

I'm after some speedflow fittings for my 25 Neo, either the usual anodized blue/red or just gloss black. However, I'm not sure exactly what I need. Go Gear are way too expensive and weren't much help, while Enzed had no idea what I wanted strangely enough. As I understand it, I need the weld in female fittings to go into the rocker cover, and then I need 90 degree barbed hose end fittings to suit 5/8th push on hose. But looking at an Earls catalogue or similar, I dont know which ones to order.

Is anyone able to give me an exact part number or point me in the right direction?

Almost forgot why I posted this in the WA section lol; if anyone works somewhere in this industry and would be able to get me a good price on fittings, could you please pm me?

If I need something last minute I go to Couplers in Malaga, if I'm prepared to wait I order from the likes of summitracing.com

Just be aware the fittings are huge, you should be fine with the 25 but with the 30 I couldn't shut the bonnet so just went back to stock fittings with pushlock hose.

Yeh? Surely that's just because of the 30, lots of guys use these fittings? Not too mention the 33 RB25's have the standard breather that goes vertically up

Chris Mills Performance stocks Proflow Fittings now i've noticed. Whilst cheap, they look to be good in quality

somewhat related question, does the size of the blow-by hose matter?

I've noticed most catch cans have a fitting about half the size of the stock fittings?

Can it suffocate the engine or anything with small hoses/fittings?

I have heard of drive-ability problems caused by having too small/too large breathers, but I never had any problems when I was using my old D1 Spec 'catch-can' (as if it ever caught anything).

Am using a Pro Fabrications unit now, Brad installed 5/8th fittings on it on my request. For anyone interested, I found the fittings I need through speedflowdirect.com. Earls part numbers are 403-10 for the 90 deg, and 999-10-D for the weld in. Helpful blokes there, and much better prices than my local Pirtek or Earls
