Replacing Cam Belt Cover

Hey all,

I've got a carbon fibre cam belt cover that I want to replace my stock one with, just wanted to find out if there is an easier way to do it than having to reset the timing again afterwards. Obviously if that's the only way to do it safely then I'll do that, just wanted to find out.

i would reset the timing afterwards. its a good time to do it and doesnt really take that long

CHeck timing before u remove it just incase its not at factory spec. Reset after u change covers

Ok, will reset the timing, thanks guys.

Any other things I should be mindful of when doing this? Torque on the CAS bolts, things behind the cover that might fall off and get lost, etc? Haven't needed to remove my cover before, just wanna be sure

maybe a dab of grease on the drive at the back of the CAS

make sure u use the gasket as it has a spacer with the carbon cover
