R33 Thermo Fans Install And Silicon Heater Hose Install

Hi all just wondering if anyone had upgraded to 2x 12' thermo fans plus aluminium fan shroud and 2 core 52mm radiator in there r33 gtst? How is it going? Was it hard to wire up thermos? And how did you do it???

Also has anyone changed the heater hoses to the silicon style heater hoses in a r33 rb25det? Was it worth it? How did it go?

Just after some feed back and opinnion on what it's all like now and if it was worth change these items.

If your cooling system is working fine, then leave it.

If your hoses arent leaking.. then leave them

Its only worth it if its 100% necessary. And you will get 90% of replys telling you to stick to the stock clutch fan.

Oh, and to answer part of the question, i just fitted a 52mm twin core Aluminium radiator to my R33 GTS25t. The stock fan and shroud still fit. Just had to trim 10mm off the bottom to clear a bolt sticking out down the bottom. Seems to be working great. I only upgraded as the stock radiator wasnt coping with 300rwkw on the track.

ok thanks for reply... is there any chance of getting any pics of ur radiator install??? what brand of radiator did you get?

also im mainly wanting to change all the heater hose just because motor is out of the car and it would be alot easier with it out.

has anyone changed the heater hose to silicon before????

Yeah sure ill get some pictures next time i use the car.. next day or so. Not alot to look at though lol, just a thick shiny radiator.
