i recently purchased skyline with basically the sole intention of getting involved in some track activities. with the addition of some coilovers and slowly growing mods list, i am keen to get involved in some track days, hill climbs, possibly some rec drifting etc.

i have reviewed the topic about getting into motorsport, which was helpful, but i am just wondering which club most people join for cams affiliation and also provides the best events / track days etc?

cheers

yeah, Join Nolimits, its like $15 a year for membership, they are CAMS affiliated.. and run good events, check out their website, they are running Hill Climbs ATM while Bardagalllos is being worked on ( only the pits and facilities unfortunately ) and once that is finished back to monthly Track nights, a great way to get plenty of seat time .

also:

Macrae motorsport twilight Rally sprint series is another good one

MCmotorsport at RAC driving centre also hold a few events..

start with Nolimits its the best and easiest way to get licensed and out there,, bound to see you at an event this summer if you get into it, so come up and make yourself known thumbsup.gif

The best sprint & hillclimbs are in the Speed Event Series. www.speedeventseries.com

The WASCC is currently running a summer hillclimb series.

No Limits do a Thursday (?) night thing and can have driver training at those events.

If you want driver training the WASCC periodically do exactly that. Worth keeping an eye out for.

The McRae series is really good but I wouldnt recommend it for beginners as there is plenty of hard stuff to hit if you get it wrong.

Also the AHG centre (RAC centre now?) have series and they are good events. Be well worth looking for.

If you want cams affiliated clubs try the WASCC (Wanneroo - more expensive but you get free entry to such things as the V8's), the WACC, The Collie Motoring Group (Although I am a little unsure of what is going on there), No Limits, I think even Antilag are now Cams affiliated?

thanks for the replies. i have just sent off my membership to no limits so will sort out my cams L2 and hopefully see you guys out there soon!

Cam this is also a good website to keep you in the loop with whats coming up..
