Mines boot lip ---> Interested

Is your frp item a genuine mines item or a copy?

copy but i will get it trial fitted to ensure fitment is perfect.

Hey are you still able to get the R33 radiator cooling panel? If so what is the final price and will it fit s2 as is says its for s1...

Yes it is available but i will need 2 of them to be purchased to go ahead.

S1 only, sorry

Do you or anyone know what the difference would be between S1 and S2?

the cooling panel I dont think has ever been made specifically for s2, I have a original Garage Defend CF cooling panel and its for S1 but fits fine... slight difference in shape of the headlight, its not flush fitting to the headlight, there's a slight gap, but you would only notice if you knew...

PICS OF R34 GTR CARBON WING BLADE

it usually comes together with the GTR carbon wing but the manufacturer is splitting them up for the group buy :)

keyyp5.jpg

ATTENTION ALL:, we have enough interest ATM for the group buy to close early and get it underway.

I'm capping the order total to $2000-$2100 as I will be splitting up the orders into two shipments to avoid customs tax and duty fees.

Sorry to all who has missed out, I will organize another one in the near future. To all who has shown interest and is on the list, please let me know if you would like to pull out.

I will be sending a PM to you all with my bank details requiring 50% deposit and order confirmations.

If I do not get a response And payment from you by COB on Friday the 17th February, I will take it that you are no longer interested and will be removed from the group buy list (unless prior arrangements have been made with me).

PICS OF R34 GTR CARBON WING BLADE

it usually comes together with the GTR carbon wing but the manufacturer is splitting them up for the group buy :)

Can you confirm we can use our standard end caps?

Chances are you might be hit with tax anyways due to brand new items at high quantity...

Whats the go from there?

According to Customs website, if it is a low volume order (which is what i'm ordering) & value is under $1000 we shouldn't get slugged. The group buy total price comes to $1850 / 2 = $925 so we are under the limit.

However If we do, the fees will cost $117 according to the calculations on their site.

if we do end up getting hit with fees & taxes, is everyone ok to pitch in an extra $5-$10 to cover the fee's? even after adding $10 to the group buy total, it still works out cheaper than buying from any local or online dealer.

If a parcel, i.e. one consignment addressed to you contains goods or other packages that were imported for other people (such as your friends or relatives) and the parcel has a declared or assessed value exceeding A$1000 you will need to lodge an import declaration and pay the duty, taxes and charges. Customs law does not permit a parcel to be split or broken down into separate packages for assessment, even if those other packages were imported for other people.

When Duty and Taxes are Payable

All imported goods are subject to assessment for duty, Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other taxes and charges even if you imported those goods for your own use.

GST is payable on most goods at a rate of 10%. (See examples below)

Imported goods valued at or below A$1000

Generally, there is no requirement to pay duty and Goods and Services Tax (GST) on imported goods valued at or below A$1000, except for alcohol (refer to Example 2 where Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) is also payable) and/or tobacco products (refer to Example 4).

Imported goods with a value at or below A$1000 that arrive by air or sea cargo will require a self-assessed clearance (SAC) declaration to be lodged with Customs and Border Protection.

There are no Customs and Border Protection charges for making a SAC declaration.

For more information about SAC declarations see the fact sheet Self-assessed Clearance (SAC) Declarations.

Goods with a value at or below A$1000 that arrive by post do not require a SAC declaration.

Imported goods with a value above A$1000

If your imported goods arrive in Australia by air cargo, sea cargo or by post and their value is above A$1000, in most cases, you will be required to make an Import Declaration and pay the calculated duty and taxes.

An Import Declaration is a statement made to Customs and Border Protection providing information about imported goods.

There is a Customs and Border Protection import processing charge for making an import declaration. Information on Customs and Border Protection fees and charges is available in Australian Customs Notice 2006/21.

Just paid for myself and Steven (ztuned). Please check your PM's :)

Thanks mate!

Can you confirm we can use our standard end caps?

looks like you can as the manufacturer didn't mention anything about end caps being supplied but i have sent an email to confirm it.

    • Ye good idea , would have never thought of something like that. Might aswell do it to every pulley and the balancer while I’m there
    • Use an LS1 or similar, via kit like Frenchy's. But.... It's probably not the alternator. It sounds like belt squeal, which would be because the pulleys are glazed. Rub every groove on the pulleys with 120 grit paper. Report back. Oh, and new belts afterwards too. The old new ones will be shitted up already.
    • Hello all I have 2 r34 sedans , one turbo one na, only recently aquired the na 34.  Man what is with these things.... My turbo 34 started sounding like a super charger, it was screaming at anything above 4000rpm , I took the alternator apart and replaced the front bearing which is the only one I think you can access and it did not fix the issue so presumably the bearing in the rear of the alternator is gone. ( diagnosed it was the alternator by taking off the aux belts one by one to figure out which pulley or bearing it was )  My friend gave me one he had lying around, Installed it , it did not squeal for maybe 500kms and now its started to squeal again briefly on startup  Recently got an na r34 and I replaced the timing belt, water pump + all the auxillirary belts. Runs amazing but it suddenly developed the same squeaking problem but significantly worse, Ive had my neighbour come down screaming at me because it was waking her up everytime I moved the car. It takes a good 2 minutes before it quietens down.  Im yet to diagnose where its coming from but im fairly sure its coming from the alternator aswell. My question isnt about how to fix it but rather where can you get a new alternator for an rb25 neo??? Ive searched everywhere but I havent been able to find a direct fit oem type replacement thats not genuine. All the automotive stores sell an oex one - BXA035 - which I picked up for cheap through a friend with staff discount , got it home only to find the connector is completelty different.... As far as im aware bxa035 is for rb20/30's and after a bit of figuring out the bxa035 has an ev14 type connector, which is tiny compared to the rb25 connector. I actually had an ev14 connector lying around which I was considering just replacing the bigger plug with to get the alternator working but the bxa035 is rated for 70amp vs the rb25 alternators are 90amp ( or so ive been told ? ) That paired along with the fact im about to install an amp + sub in the back and I have the stock sized small battery Im not sure itll do the job unless anyone has another opinion?  I know and have seen all the websites selling the ls1 alternator conversion kit but I am not going down that route, nor do I have the money to. Hopefully I can figure out how to get 2 brand new alternators for both cars. I would buy second hand which there seems to be many of but considering how common this seems to be im sure If I installed a second hand one it would start squealing in no time  Or even better if anyone knows how to fix the issue directly with the alternator itself... Any input appreciated Thank you     Link for bxa035 connector picture
    • As above, replace as many as you can afford. If anything, due to old age.
    • Can confirm previous shop that built my motor had no fking clue about oil control and caused my motor to shit itself after two track days. Current shop, Birrong Automotive, has managed to build me a motor, not to mention, has also let me tune it myself and it has yet to blow up after 7 track days. Great oiling success, yashimash.
