Wtf Is This Plug?

hey guys,

started looking through my new gts-t last weekend, pulled out the back seats and under the seats was this plug

it runs from under the seat....to under the carpet, then comes out behind the lighter on the dash? i can see it when i pull out the smoke butt colsoley thing? looks like a midi cable :S, is it important?

yeah but the stereo works fine?? ive never in my life seen a cable like that go to a stereo?? its sitting in the middle of nowhere lol...tuning maybe??

Used to be part of the stereo, now is just scrap copper.
