annoying squealing/hi-pitched sound

in the last week, a squealing sound is made whenever i brake, so i know i'm in for new pads pretty soon. however, in the last 2 days, that same sound is made when the car is in motion, even when i'm rolling at 5km/h. can anyone enlighten me? thanks in advance.

just your pads yelling out "change me!!"

they're made to make a bad noise when they're getting close to nothingness, it's all normal.

mine did the same thing, so i changed them, but when i did, i notice i had about half the pad left on them. they might just need a clean with some brake cleaner. pull them apart and see. pads will set you back about $150 for a full set from repco.
