Dvd Rom In M35 Stagea?

Hi all,

Just got my 2002 M35 Stagea today, expecting to have a DVD player in the passenger side glovebox.

But its not a DVD player! iv tried numerous DVD and the screen wont start playing it.

1. Is it a DVD player? what the hell is it if it doesn't play DVD's

2. How do i select the DVD with all the Jap buttons I cant read?

3. What is the card slot next to it?

Rather ironically, last time I was in Kiama, it said I was on a mountain.

It doesn't let you play videos. The dvd rom can unblock the screen for picture from the tv tuner to be displayed while driving. Otherwise there will be a blocked signal when watching the TV while diving.
