Just wondering if anyone has this turbo timer?

It lists in it's features a 0-100kph,0-400m,etc. Has anyone used the 0-400m function, and how would it compare to say,a G-Tech?

I assume the GReddy timer uses a similar brain as a G-Tech, to read g-forces to calculate times, but you have to level up a G-Tech before a run,so I'm wondering how accurate this timer would be?

I have this timer, its alright.

I havent fully set it up yet. Has speed warning and a rev warning (changes colour and beeps at you). You have to fiddle around with it a bit, which i wouldnt do while driving. Its a bitch to remember how to change to all the modes it has.

I havent used to 0-400m yet, have tried it but i dont really want to hit 160kp/h on the roads. It beeps 3 times to say its ready and then when you move it auto counts. Its a good timer tho. :) Esp. for $180!

yeah ive used the 1/4 mile feture on mine...its not the most accurate. But gives you a (aroundabout) sort of a reading

A good turbo timer but really all a turbo timer should really do is keep the engine running for a set amount of time, if i brought another one id get a basic one & save my money and get one of those apexi Speed metre thingys

Thanks for the replys guys.It sounds like quite a good unit.

I was just curious about the 0-400m feature,as It's 6hours to WSID,and 9hours to Willowbank for me.....

As long as it's fairly consistant, more than spot on accurate, just to use as a "development" tool for my own car,as mods progress. :)

I've seen these for $145 at import parts australia.
