I'll go first.

It says Nissan not infinite, so ive heard nissans gtr is made in a v8 in the track spec cars.

Anyone think that will be the case??

It's funny I was only ranting about why the gtr in their v8 isn't in the comp last v8 supercar race.

I think this Nissan V8 Supercar will be restricted to the same control parts as the Holden and Ford V8 Supercars.

Ergo, same shit, different badge

EDIT

THOUGH! If Nissan were to bring a proper Nissan to V8SC... I would LOVE to see a Nissan Fuga in the field

Indeed....but they won't be allowed to.

v8SC is strictly controlled so it will be the same chassis everyone else is using with a pushrod v8.

If they do it....neither nissan nor v8sc have confirmed this.

If you want to see an r35 GTR racing, watch Australian GT racing

And another sad thing is that people will go "see that gtr is crap, stupid chopstick built design" when it doesnt smash the field. Obviously not caring thats its not a true japanese designed GTR just a badge, with same chassie ect as their bogan mobiles :P

Don't get why people are saying its a shit move??

The fact that NISMO is gettig behind it means that Nissan is serious about its presence in Aus. Regardless of what the category is, official presence in any series in Aus is more than a good thing.

Not a fan of the category, but damn impressed that Nissan is going to be throwing big cash with a factory backed team in Australia's #1 series.

Well it has to be a 4 door, so it won't look anything like a GTR, so no one will think that.
