Nick, they have all my contact details, I dont see why they dont call...I have spoke to the involved party and still offered to split the cost of the repair to the turbo etc...which i think is more than a fair deal but I will still be convinced that when I sold the turbo it was in WORKING order...

Just a quick word for anyone else selling parts, If you would like a list of some names of buyers who to be aware of i will be happy to help..

Looking for opinions on a situation on buying over the internet

i have a trust 20g kit AND yes....that is manifold..gate...and turbo

i agreed on swapping my kit for his ball-bearing 700hp garrett turbo + hks manifold and gate (high mount)

it is actually quite a simple deal i regarded him as a mate so i had no hesitation whatsoever in doing this...he fealt he had trouble selling this kit ...and offered i swap him as he fealt he could sell the trust kit more easily..... i guess we helped each other out...

After inspection of this turbo from a reputable turbo place i found out it is plain bearing i had a think about it and decided to go ahead with the deal....

as time went by i had purchased a custom v-band clamp to match this turbo and arranged to get the front housing polished

um he had found a buyer for my trust kit and the funny part was he was happy to ripp this poor fellow off as well....judd convinced him somehow it was ball bearing (lied)....luckily they refused the deal...

on another note it is now time to use this turbo kit....only to find out it is a low mount turbo manifold with a t4 flange + 35mm gate.....hmmm 35mm gate + 700hp turbo not a good combination and the fact that he insist i can make an adapter plate (turbo t3) for it makes me laugh as there is no room for it down there.... he offered me stupid deals pending on whether he sold my tubo kit eg $800 cash and i take all the mismatched parts ... another one $1500 and i just take the turbo.....i was bitterly dissappointed and made sure if this deal was to go through i would make sure some sought of money was in my pocket.... so i didnt let any of my parts leave my hands.... i still currently have my turbo kit and his as well......

i asked him a million times if the manifold was high mount he claimed yes...so he basically lied to me in that sense cause i was informed that he had a low mount one that his held on to for years....i chose no to beleive him....i was stupid....however what judd is forgetting is that he said i can adapt to garret turbo to my manifold if worse comes to worse..... i think with a little bit of work i can get it in there.....and this is what im deciding to do!!!!!

but last night i got a sms saying he wants his turbo back.....as far as i know....all ur getting is a tdo6-20g with a low mount hks mainfold!!!!!!! his forgoten ive built my motor to ****en accomodate this thing and have wasted my time and money running around because of his bullshit lies!!!!!!! somebody stop him!!!!!

AMU would have to be the most shifty characters I have come across....AMU you wanted to sell your kit, you try to rip off your own friends to make $$$ in return to help fund your car rebuild. And will do it at what ever cost! You twist and change so many things to suit your self.

Thats EXACTLY right, so why would you TAKE the turbo off me in the first place??? let alone buy anything extra for it!!!! and then expect me to pay you back for the V-Clamp you bought etc... i was helping you and saving you over $400.

Instead cause it doesnt suit you, you cried about it and felt hard done by? How are you loosing, if we go back to giving each others stuff back? I heard you aint even going to give me MY turbo back...which will i will proceed with legal action.

sorry blitz I agree I don't know who's the guilty party or even if there is one here so it was more just a general note for anyone trying shit on here Judd and GETSET I hope you guys work this out I guess it's obvious how buying over the net can be a pain. Oh I ain't a syd boy I ain't on either guys side I'm who I say I am. But it's true we're a community here of like minded ppl so all this stuff shouldn't happen. I know 1/2 the things said in here would never be said to ones face in person without consequences as everyone has feelings and should be shown some respect on and off the forum, I feel its just gone from bad to very bad, please keep things civil

Knowing all parties involved I know that no one is shifty or bad its just a misunderstanding that should of been made clear deal wise well before the deal was done and it got to this point, but it wasn't so weather its pride or anger now thats causing this take a step back and remember we are or were all pretty good mates and try thinking about it from the other persons shoes as it mightn't look like it does from your own

1. Did you identify the manifold as TRUST?

2. Did u identify the turbo as TRUST?

3. Did u also say the TURBO had a upgraded TRUST Internal Gate?

The customer paid $2600.00 for what he thought was a TRUST TD06 KIT with Manifold and Trust upgraded Internal Gate. If this were so then this is what the customer should of recieved.

Instead the customer recieved a Trust TD06 turbo. with a STANDARD manifold with an adaptor plate.

THe turbo itself has the internal gate line cut and re-welded. The exaust side of the gate had been welded shut (will post pictures) The shaft play in the turbo was deemed unacceptable by a repuatable turbo place.

Thus a rebuild is a must.

The warrenty is fine, they voided that as they took so long. But the amount has been paid in full for a Trust TD06 Turbo kit.

But the problems arising from the Deal itself still remain. The customer didn't get what he paid for FULL STOP. the MERCHANDISE does need a re condition

Thank you for posting Donnie, as I can deem you as the 3rd party or 4th party now involved in this besides me.

The kit was sold as a TRUST TD06-20G Kit!!!! Originally was thought to come with dump and wastegate which, before any money exchanged hands was told upfront to you and therefore the discount! At that stage I did ask if you still wanted to kit and you said YES, and we agreed on a value!

Once arriving in Australia. there were numerous call by ME telling you to pick up the kit...after about 3or so months you told me he doesnt want the kit any more and for me to try and sell it....which i did try to which not much luck!

So you then decided another 3months later to come pick up the kit as you had found another buyer yourself. This customer did the right thing by asking to look at it all, which he did and was not happy as the communication was not great. As they thought it was trust manifold, JUST AS I THOUGHT IT WAS WHEN I BOUGHT FROM THE GARAGE IN JAPAN. I never saw the kit I did all the deals over the phone, just like you would here calling a wrecker...

Now it has all turned around and I am held responsibly for everything....which is fair enough...and it could have been resolved MONTHS ago! as there was a warrenty and could have sent back to Japan under warrenty. with a FULL refund being an option..

So what I am left to is to offer half the costs involved in repairing this turbo. So if I could get it back and I will have it quoted etc...I trust you enough to not worry about you would have tried to damage the turbo even further but if this is the case. We will have to make other arrangements!..

Does that sound fair to you? Or any of the other people following this Judge Judy case?

The turbo speacialist looked @ the turbo and identified the gate as a standard item. They also made point to the actuator line benig cut and re welded, and also why the zorst gate hole was blocked up.

see we still have the proablem of the customer paying you $2600 for something he didn't want. He wanted a TRUST TD06 TURBO KIT with Turst manifold,turbo and upgraded internal gate.

Wat was delivered was far from what was ordered.

I dont mean to get involved with this whole fight, but I do feel I need to step in and lay down some experiences that I have with Judd.

I have had serval dealings with Judd over the last 2 years. By the way I have only know Judd through this Forum.

2 years ago I had an issue with my ECU, and I posted up "Need to swap a STD GTR ECU" Judd PM'ed me, and was happy for me to borrow his stock ECU to get me out of trouble. When I returned the ECU he would not even accept a 6 pack of beer to say thanks.

6-8 months ago, Judd offered assistance in getting some parts. I decided to buy 2 GTRS turbo's off Judd. Firstly before I bought the turbo's I did all my research on the web (15min worth), to ensure they would fit the STD manifold, if they were Ball Bearing, top / bottom mount, gaskets etc. Once I knew exactly what I was buying (verified with part numbers) I transferred the money to his account. The turbo’s arrived the same day Judd said they would.

PS I kept the $5k difference from Judd's price and Croydons price.

Im now using Judd to facilitate a buy of a 2001 VSPECII, through his contacts in JAP. Judd has proven to me, that he is helpful and reasonable and I have no issues in dealing with him. In addition he is now insisting that we get solicitors involved to help protect him self against helping people.

Judd is putting in writing that he is personally commercially liable for the quality of the car once it arrives in OZ and I that I will fulfil my end of the deal and pay once the car does arrive.

I know that this world is full of dishonest people but from my dealings as explained above, Judd is not one of them.

I purchased a GReddy/Trust plenum from Judd - Abosolutley no problems at all in dealing with him and would happily deal again.

I think this is just a big mis-understanding that would be sorted out if all parties were locked in a room with an independant arbitrator.
