Z32 AFM required?

Hi, I am looking at modding my R33 up with the usual stuff, 3 inch exhaust, larger intercooler, powerFC and boost controller module, airpod, BOV.

Is the factory AFM ok for the sort of power this will be able to generate (with 12psi), or is the Z32 required to stop it saturating?

I know its a common fitment to S13's and perhaps R32's, but is it required in an R33 GTST?

Eventually yes, there good for about 200-220rwkw(stock AFM), but if your going PowerFC then definately get one(Z32), better tuning resolution.

z32 afm is not required until you really change turbo's cause the stock afm isgood enough for hte stock turbo

Install and tune the PFC first.

The PFC will tell you when the AFM is at full scale deflection (5.1V).

I found this to be at around 200 rwkw on my old S15 using an RB25 AFM.
