yep its retarded, BLOSE car audio suck frothy sweaty balls . you can build a box that sounds better and takes twice the power and same space , why would you use that rubbish ? recycle it and be kind to the planet

any sane installer would say no way. its a step backwards compared to the cost to use it. pro car audio walks all over BLOSE stuff, even cheap speakers are better then BLOSE if used in a good custom box

did I mention BLOSE is junk , most are just paper cone drivers that die in the heat and wet weather (even the famous 301- 901 home speakers are paper cones in good tuned boxes) , low ohm load speakers with low power built in amps , used in a 7th order bandpass box, double reflex box to improve the sound

ok one more time, it sucks and isnt worth it. break it open and use the magnet for your fridge photos cause thats all its good for or to replace a dead one in another R35 ?

I wouldnt install it in my crapper

yeah i see what u guys are saying i only ment it as a concept as you say cause i couldnt figure any other way to explain what i wanted.

yeah i ment like have the subs in a custom box with maybe some rockford T1's in the rear seat.

You could do it

Police and thieves will love you

To remove the rear seat you have to re registet your car as a two seater and weldup sealup the holes etc or defect magnet

A small comsole with sub would be ok like r35 but lots of better options exist

troy, R32 had a drop down centre armrest. that makes the concept a bit easier. only thing being is that I am not sure if that was a sedan only thing or a trim level on the 32. mine does not have it. also the steel barrier behind the seat would need modding and strengthening.

what sort of options do i have?

I cant really put them in the boot with the Battery and the fuel system?

plenty of room in the side panels in the boot ? the side panels in the rear seat area, or buld a console to merge with the front, or ditch the not so light weight spare ?a little fiberglass and a shallow mount sub on one side, amp the other side done

chris some 32's have the arm rest , some dont, I've seen a few without it, not sure what option level it is ? but anyway I understood the concept portion inbetween the seats. just BLOSE speakers are average at best compared to other options

    • Ha ha, all good! I've almost caved in and realised I'm buying one.  I know myself well enough by now that I will start chasing ADHD butterflies half way through building it and not finish it so I'm better off spending the extra money buying one instead of making one just so I can get into straight away.  I would very much enjoy making one as fabrication is probably a strength and definitely a passion but I don't want that to be at the detriment to the car I'm ultimately building it for! There's some pretty good ones around for ~$1100 at the moment so I think I'll just go that way.  At the end I sell it or as mentioned, get another project to make further use of it! Thanks gents.
    • That link was very helpful thank you.
    • That is the option code, not the VIN. Regardless all of that production is considered series 2: https://gtr-registry.com/en-ecr33-vin-table.php
    • Apologies if I sounded like a arse My point was that you will not be able to buy a rotisserie that suits your car, you get the rotisserie frame, and then fabricate parts to mount the rotisserie frame to the body The rotisserie side is easy, but the fabrication of the actual mounts is the tricky part, where to mount so you don't bend/twist the body, plus the geometry involved to get it to turn  If your capable at fabrication, and can work out where the C/L is in relation to the weight is so it actually can turn, you should be sweet I would love to see the progress on this just for the thought processes and fabrication
