Hi i was wondering what kind of traps and time i could expect to get in my Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R. Just finished it recently here in Iceland. Built motor , standalone etc.

Track is at sealevel and its usually not extremely warn here. Is it reasonable to expect to get it to trap 140 mph with my setup on high boost ?

Can you guys post some times and specs for those of you running GT2860-5 , GT2860-10(2871R) , HKS 2530 and 2540/GT-RS

These are the specs of my car

. Twin GT2871R Turbos // ported stock manifolds and ported exhaust housing to match

. Kakimoto 3.5" full exhaust system

. Exedy Twin plate clutch

. Greddy FMIC and pipes

. VEMS Standalone + Map sensor

. Deatschwerks 870cc Injectors

. Deatschwerks 300+ lph fuel pump

. HKS EVC 5 Boost controller

. Nismo engine and transmission mounts

. Driftworks upper links

. Full Roll cage

. Apexi coil-overs

. Volk racing 17x9" wheels

Built motor

. CP Piston Set with Rings // 86.5mm(0.02")

. Eagle H-Beam Connecting rods // ARP 2000 fasteners

. Nissan N1 Oil Pump

. Tomei Combination Kit comes with

*Metal Head gasket(1.2mm Thick, 87mm Bore)

*Metal Throttle Gasket

*Metal Intake Manifold Gasket

*Metal exhaust Manifold Gasket

*Oil gallery orifice

. ACL Race Series Con Rod Bearings

Instead of posting a long part list - just post up power.

Pretty easy to work out a ball park from there.

cant really post the power, no dyno here that can handle over 500whp. So we all just road tune the cars.

i was also asking other people with the same turbos or similiar turbos to post up their times. To get an idea what people have been running with

GT2871R , HKS 2530 and 2540 , GT2860-5´s etc :)

It depends on how good your engine is, how heavy your car is, how much boost you are using, what fuel you are using etc etc.... I know of people running anywhere from 9s to 11s with those turbos. The standard response is, go and do it - what someone else has done bares little relevance to yourself.

In short, as fast as 9s are possible - odds are you won't hit them unless you have a car hell bent on going fast with good tyres fuel and are a well experienced driver.

yeah i was really just wondering if anyone could post up some times and specs of some cars with similiar mods

another guy here in Iceland with a R32 GT-R has gone 10.47@135mph on pump gas with these mods

Wiseco Forged Pistons

Eagle Rods H beam

ARP Headstuds

TRUST GReddy T517Z turbo x2

Tomei Cam Shafts degree of IN260 9.15mm lift degree of EX260 9.15mm lift

Split Fire direct ignition coil

SARD 800cc injector X6

bosch 044 fuel pump x2

TRUST GReddy Fuel Rail

Aeromotive A1000 Fuel Pressure Regulator

Z32 ×2 MAF

Apexi powerFC

Mate by and large - 99% of those mods mean sweet fk all.

The turbos will make "X" power on "X" fuel. Rods mean nothing, pistons mean nothing, coils mean nothing. Same for injectors, fuel pumps, AFMs etc. None of them are contributing factors to a ET. They are simply supporting mods for the turbos.

End of the day its the turbos that decide MPH, then traction for the ET

Go and run, get the MPH, and work from there.

of course they mean something, you need to have large enough injectors and enough fuel to make the power.

I cant go and run the car since im in Iceland and the track doesnt open until May. Thats why i was hoping someone with a similiar setup would chime in and post what they have run at what boost level and what kind of power it made

I used to have a Toyota Supra with a Precision billet 71mm that ran 10´s @ 140mph

I still say no.

Put 1000cc or 4000cc injectors - they car won't make anymore power.

So as i said they are simply supporting.

Without knowing what fuel, tyres, gearbox, diff ratios etc... We aren't going to get anywhere dude.

As said earlier - you could potentially run 9s. Or you could run 11s

No-one can answer it accurately.

Thats not what i ment, i ment if for example a car had a huge turbo and still had the stock injectors and stock fuel pump it wouldnt even be able to make more then roughly 400whp hence it wouldnt be able trap very much

But i was mainly after getting someone to post up some times that they had achived with the same turbos i have or even a bit smaller. Just to get an idea what people are running
