Boost Issue Help Please

Hey Guys,

here some background information, not sure if that make any difference.

Before my car went to get its water system replaced (hoses and radiator basically), my car was making about bit below +7 on the stock boost gauge.

After the the replacement of all water system pipe and radiator, the car does not make pass +4.5 (estimate) on the stock boost gauge.

since i have a spare manual boost controller (previously was on the car), set it to lowest setting and it make the correct boost (just below +7)

so i thought it would have been my boost solenoid, and replaced that. That didn't do anything still reading at +4.5.

Just wondering if replacing the water system would have affect it? or something else just decide to go wrong? and what could that be?

I think 4.5 x 100 mmHg is the stock boost level on an R33. Assuming thats what car it is

Um, just because you replaced the solenoid doesn't mean that both were good, nor does it mean that the wiring to the solenoid wasn't damaged by someone slipping in the engine bay with a big spanner, etc etc.
