could be that the driver of the skyline was trying to fight the truck driver (hitting the truck, banging on the window, etc) so the truck driver did what he had to to get away from the violent guy in the skyline. seems plausible with the fact that the skyline driver was out of the car

To me it's pretty clear.

Skyline is waiting for that car with the reverse lights on to pull out and thus to grab the park.

Must have been waiting for a long time so he gets out and goes over to the car to see if the park will eventuate.

Truck driver has had enough and decides to go around, jumps the divider which prompts Skyline guy that he's probably blocked the road long enough.

Truck driver then finds his road blocked by various signs.

Reverses back with increasing fury almost cleaning up Skyline guy.

Rage then takes over and truck driver has always wanted to drive a dozer.

Anyway..............

lol at some of the replies in this thread, shit would get real if the 'Line driver is an SAU member and can answer some of of these pertinent questions.

agree on the meeting of two douches, if traffic is backed up that much he must have been sitting there for ages, still nothing justifies the clearly insane actions of the truck driver, clearly he has some serious mental issues that need to be addressed.

Terry, maybe you could help him out?

i hope this idiot truck driver gets the jail time, what an complete idiot.

and here we are with the news and media labelling us import drivers as hoons.

This happens to me too. I think my speedo reads a bit faster than I'm really going compared with my GPS, but still there's something else going on.

One day I was driving past a known place where a speed camera van sets up, and was doing the speed limit. Some idiot in a hatchback behind me is virtually touching my car he's so close. I'm in the fast lane and traffic in the slow lane is doing 80km in a 100km zone. So I kept going until I could pull over to the left lane. But as soon as I was about to this guy speeds past me, then cuts in front of me. He was so close I'm convinced to this day he was trying to clip me. Then the f**kwit slams on his brakes while we're doing 100km. Luckily I was alert otherwise I would have smashed right into him. Plus it happened quite quickly too so further advice to always stay on your toes. Now I was infuriated and thought about chasing after this prick. Heck I wouldn't have known what to do even if I did chase him down, but I kept going on my way to work.

There are some real assholes on the roads now days. Now I like to push the +10% on the speed limit, especially on the motorway in the 110km zones, but it seems alot of other drivers do the same. Still I've had more dickheads tailgate me while I've been a Skyline owner than any other car. Could be the locations, or it could be something else.

A Skyline on Moorebank Ave tried to overtake a turning truck into work today at about 2:30, he got on his horn and yelled abuse at the truck driver, the Skyline driver obviously didn't see the huge signs on the truck or its blinker, the people standing on the corner did though.

It's not just the truckdrivers that pay no attention to the road laws it seems.

my question is, to all those who think that the skyline guy did absolutely nothing wrong other than hold up traffic, why did someone decide to record it? the footage starts when the guy is already out of the car, especially when the guy holding the camera is yelling out "smash him". so until other info is provided i will stick to my story that the guy in the skyline got out to argue with the truck driver.

I can also argue for an opposed balanced view without insisting that the Skyline driver was without any shred of blame.

If the vid operator was so one-eyed about the truck driver being in the right, he would have hidden this footage would he not?

It was so obviously incriminating of the truck driver being the antagonist and the Line driver appearing to be the passive party that if I was the vid taker, I wouldn't have even thought of considered handing over this footage.

The funny thing is the truck looks like one from the people that live over the road from my parents. I wouldn't put it past them being involved either. On the upside though it was only a R33 :P

    • It's actually really good advice. And I do try to do it. I actually have 2x 3KG dumbbells that sit right beside where I sit. And I look at them a lot. Use them a little. But I'm trying to do more with it. At the moment I'm going through a heap of weight loss too which will help. I cracked into the 85kg mark this week. My weight used to have me sit consistently between 93 to 95KG! That definitely doesn't help. I've also got POTS, which flared up after I got slapped with COVID a few weeks back, and POTS really smashes fatigue and stuff into you, and has a thing even called "excercise fatigue". Basically even the minorest "excercise" (walking from the garage to the house) causes fatigue! And one of the treatments (Other than a med I'm on) is also... Excercise... Ha ha ha So it's why I'm trying to play the game of "might as well" and trying to push through things. For ADHD specifically, the general recommendation is "excercise". When you dig deep into it though, while any excercise is good, the best type is "explosive" excercise. So training for a sport like squash, tennis, even soccer. Things where you need to get the whole body able to "explode" into a different direction change. They've found with explosive sports, (I can't think of the proper term they have for it) that it actually makes the brain grow and become bigger in specific areas. The areas where ADHD causes those parts of the brain to be smaller than normal! But definitely, trying to push myself, and break those bounds mate, and get healthier!
    • Be more active mate.. , not taking the piss ❤️, your long term health will love you for it I would think something like a kettle bell or 2 laying around in areas you go past during the day would be awesome for ADHD.... "Oh look, a kettlebell", and exercise helps your brain health as well My mates son was a bit of a problem child, diagnosed wirh ADHD, and some other things that had his brain occasionally doing loops, until we got him into a training program, the difference after he started training was amazing, he had more focus, and his fitness levels exploded, it is like he is a totally different kid to be around Brain chemistry something something Stay fit stay strong mate
    • I had never actually looked into it, but aren't onboard compressors a thing in trucks?
    • Read the ECU for fault codes or have someone else do it. A faulty coolant temperature sender is usually listed in ECUs. If the sensor itself is not busted it can also be a bad ground connection. Or in a really unlucky case, damaged wiring.
    • Can't be a Futjitsubo as those are made with a flex piece and Reimax is smaller in pipe diameter. If anything it is closest to a Mines pipe, but evidently it is not an actual Mines pipe.   Classic word humor
