Kam, any chance you would be considering a low mount manifold?

There is a distinct lack of affordable (same price range as your high mounts), available (HKS items are rather hard to find), low mount (put the turbo flange in same position as stock manifold does) exhaust manifolds..

Kam - Do you make a low mount option without a wastegate mount?

For RB25, using internal wastegate Garret turbo.

I would also like to know if you could make a manifold with an alternate flange plate?

IE I would like an SR manifold in highmount design but with an EVO flange plate.

Would love to know and asap :)

What power have pepole made with these ?? Anyonr made dececent power ?? Hoping to push 300 plus with 44mm gate

Guys, If anyones after a genuine HKS RB26 Low Mount T4 manifold and matching 1bar wastegate, I have a brand new, unsued one for sale...PM me??

well im doin 355kw with a shit chinese manifold... so id assume ud do the same power if not more on one of these

Hi guys,

Sorry we have been flat out,

As for the low mount manifold i don't think we will be making them as the demand is not very high and last time we did it sat with us for months.

I will be making some new manifolds in the next few weeks,

1) No WG port option (so you can run direct off the back of the turbo or if you have a internal gate )

2) the Collectors will be smoother and will have a better flow we already have some ideas,

3) Exhaust flange will be machined after and checked with a straight ruler for no gaps,

4) 2 options 44mm / 50mm waste gate option ( would any one need a 60mm option ? let me know prior)

Any more info or adjustments let me know !

Regards

Kam

38mm options already in stock,

Who else would prefer 40mm over 44? let us know what you guys want so i know what to make for you :)

Thanks

just want to point out that this weld while it looks nice and pretty is NOT a strong weld. theres a large amount of undercut on the edges. needs more filler wire as it loks like its just been fusioned together

I regards to kams manifold seeing my mate bought one and is currently using it has been long before this thread started i can say that his.setup on a stock rb25 with gtx3076 works fine straight of the gate holds 14psi no problems no boost creep he is running a 50mm tial gate currently and makes 260 rwkw safe as its a drift car and he is very heavy footed.it did make 295kw at 17psi but was taken back to 14psi till he got more used to the cars setup

Pity :/

Kam, i want one with a 44mm V-Band Wastegate outlet, with 44mm ID wastegate pipeing too and your new improved ported merged collector, T4 Flange. Please drop me a PM on here with the price and leadtime bud?? Cash waiting plus if the manifold is good Ill do a full writeup for you on the UK GTR Forums!!! Cheers, Andy

Just a point too........anyone running a RB26 or bigger with T4 framed Turbo should have a 44mm wastegate as minimum in my experiance.....im guessing thats why "other" manifold manufactures build with 50mm dia wastegate tubes and flanges??

I've got cash to purchase one so ounce uve made the new manifold I will purchase one with 44mm gate

    • The only Neo rods that were any different to any other RB25 rods were the DET ones, and they were the same as RB26. Here is a Neo DET rod. O5U part number visible. Here is a post in a thread here on SAU with evidence from someone who has done this before. There are photos in the thread of normal RB25 rods.
    • Sure, but why assume that will be the case forever? And why assume you'll be able to do an oil change to swap back to a stock drain bolt before that happens? And does it even matter when I change the oil at fairly short intervals? Life can be funny sometimes and unexpected things can happen. Like breaking a collarbone so you can't do any work on your car for a few months but the oil change is due so you have to take it to somewhere and hope they don't do something stupid like stacking the new drain plug washer on top of the old one.
    • Do u know how to identify the rods are rb25 or neo ones? Can u look into the pics and tell me is they de or de neo ones. Its confusing becoz my motor has de neo head but block is 25de 75t, so really confusing me about rods, crank.
    • Are you talking about the oil squirters? There is only one place for them to go. Yes, you have to drill the holes. Yes you have to obtain the correct oil squirters (I presume there is some sort of aftermarket option available, because original turbo ones are going to be a diminishing resource).
    • I thought you didn't let mechanics, especially those with no idea, work on your car any more? Wouldn't that mean it won't be an issue in your case?
