And conveniently, for anyone that wants to run their Halos full time, the green/red wire you cut supplies accessories power, so I am pretty sure if you wired that up to the red wire to your Angel Eyes ballast, you will have Angel Eyes on whenever your car is on. I am still thinking about doing this myself.

If you fancy a more detailed video

Come on guys surely if it is this simple we don't need to take it anywhere!!!!!!!!

This video is awesome! Now I know what I need, which is the HID socket. I'm getting confused, the ballast and igniter are the same thing right? Sorry, I'm no lighting or electrical guru.

Yes a ballast and igniter are the same thing - but I think the little chrome thing that plugs into the back of your globe is also part of the igniter system.

But to be clear, if you already had a ballast screwed into the bottom of your oem lights, the part you (and many people) need is the cable he pulls out of one light and refits in the other - one end clips into the back of the ballast (and is held in by a little screw), and the other end is a near square looking chrome thing that plugs into the back of the HID globe.

So these (http://www.ebay.com....#ht_1372wt_1378) won't do the job?

Yes, that is the EXACT item I posted up a page back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS WHAT YOU NEED. Didn't you watch the video? Sheesh.

I just only watched the video today and thats what made me realise I need the "igniter/ballast to bulb" wire. So I think everything is all clear now, just need to get that and some bulbs. Yeah, I didn't troll every post on this thread and was too excitied to get the new headlights in and forgot the small details. So sick of seeing my rotten right hand side headlight and now I have to see it longer, serves me right I guess... :verymad: LOL!

New headlights are in! They look amazing. Only complains are that the LED strip is not bright enough and you can't actually see them from an angle and the H1 high beams that came with the lights are rubbish.

Alvin, did you manage to get your turn signal lights (the yellow ones facing the front) to remain off while the led strips and the halos are on in parkers mode?

Then get these for high beam

LED has 2 brightness settings. they are low level when you turn outer light stalk to auto, parkers or on and then become brighter when you turn the inner light stalk switch to on.. I think if you give the halos full power with green/red wire you cut from your indicator wiring then they will be at the brighter setting.. i will have to test out.

Night stalker, that would be much appreciated if you can post that up here asap. i have one headlight apart deciding if i will change the cutoff of my LHD ones or not.. thx

When you say the inner light stalk switch, do you mean the fog light switch?

I think that is what it is. I turned it on a couple of times at Garage Cafe and others told me that all it did was turned up the brightness of the leds by a notch.

On your indicator stalk, move in from where you switch the headlights on. The 'fog' lights are actually the lower filament in the dual filament high beam. But the H1 globe that comes with the new headlights only has a single filament, and I am not sure if the Philips ones you bought are single or dual filament Paul.
