And...never dropped a bike in my life. Not saying it won't happen, but not everyone drops. Who knows, maybe cause I don't do "stoppies" it hasn't happened to me yet...

I concur.

Anyone who assumes they are going to crash is an idiot. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.

Sure, motorbikes crash easier than cars but don't ASSUME it's going to happen.

Booki that is all fine in the internet world but doesn't happenin the real world. No one looks at a bike that closely ever. You'll know when you find a good one straight away. I would get someone who has ridden and worked on bikes to see/ride it before you paid the final amount. Just put a $50 deposit down if your keen. 95% people will accept it.Ps - 250 4 strokes are like riding lawnmower powered push bikes, so slow.. Don't expect to much power to feel scared of. You'll be right. The plus side - Cheap to commute on!

Yeah fair point, though i do have to say its nice to have a heads up on what to look for. I took most of that with a grain of salt when i was looking for my bikes, but none the less. I still go over them with a fine tooth comb. I am really anal about my bikes/cars. Its probably unhealthy/not normal to be so anal...

Agreed.

I recken if your serious about riding, don't get a 250. Now that you have LAM's, look for something bigger if budget permits. Or something single cylinder.

I was once like you...wanted something full fairing. I mean by all means do it, but at least LOOK at some naked bikes. Just to comparassion, after a while. They really grew on me.

My next road bike will be a Triumph Street Triple. Tick's all the right box's (for me) in terms of a road bike.

Don't think i would ever sell my motard though...if i did, it would be only to get another one :D

Dirt bike riding on the road, hell yes!

Hey guys,

I bought a bike over the weekend. It's a 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

Had 390km on the clock, everything looks brand new.

Picked it up for $4400 without rwc, doesn't seem like there's anything needed for a rwc.

Since Saturday, I've added around 450km to the bike, it's been sooooo much fun!

Here's a pic :D

Good pickup, not a fan of the color but that's just me....

You did well to get one with such low kms for that price, I'm in the market for the same bike and the only one I know of with similar kms (340km) is asking $7k, but she's dreaming...lol

How's it feel to ride? what's the power like etc?

Yeaaah! Was such a bargin!

Hmmm how it feels... Well having only been on a CBR125R during getting my license, jumping on the Ninja feels quick LOL, I think the Ninja is good to commute around and fun to ride. Depending on what you want I guess..

If you can ride, you are welcome to pop by and try it lol
