Series 3 Steering Wheel On A Series 1 R33 Gtr?

Hi Guys

I did a search and could not locate any information on this so apologise if been asked before.

I am thinking of getting a Series 3 Steering Wheel but want to make sure I can fit it on my Series 1 R33 GTR.

I have a feeling it is quite a hassle to get everything to work but thought I would ask.

The Series 1 Steering wheel is showing some signs of wear, open to any other options?

I also did some searching on this. And this is what I got out of it.

The series one connectors (presuming its the connectors between the base of the steering wheel and the steering colloumn) they are different between the s1 and s3. But with a bit of creativity it could work.

The S1 and S2/3 Horn and Bag connector is different irrc.

Yep connectors are different, I believe the SRS system itself is different as well.

Late model R33/R34/S15 all use the same gear. Late 32 early 33 etc use the same gear but you can't really interchange between the two setups.
