I have just bought an r33 and i was wondering is it dangerous on the engine when I redline from time to time. this evening was first time i hit the limiter when going through a tunnel and i didnt realise how much the car would bang and shoot flames. should i be staying away from doing this or is it ok now and again

when driving hard you will clip the limiter every now and then, if doing drift or motorkhana, more often...

if it's just a lil clip here and there it's nothing to worry about.

hitting the limiter for the sake of hitting the limiter and holing it is what will kill the oil pump/motor
