baggins
Hello!.. i need advice.. my so far bullet proof (silly mistake) R33 has developed a issure where when it heats up it will cough splutter and die. one minute its all good the next it wont respond to the throttle and it dies. let it sit for a bit and it starts again runs for five or so and again the ignition fails and it stops. reading on here it seems to point to a faulty ignitor but i dont want to buy one of these only to find that it is something else buy that wrong again and so on.. it seems to be a common fault but there seems to be no common answer. what are the symptoms to look for to distinguish between faults to know what to replace. i suspect eith Ignitor throttle possition or crank sensor any help wp\ould be gladly appriciaed. mad082
do a search on how to read fault codes. see if that gives you any faults and it will be a good place to start.
