Hi Guys........

We all know that the std speedo in a JDM car tops out at 180kph.

Ive seen 260kph, 300kph and 320kph versions. Maybe even more........

What (if anything) has to be done when installing these for them to read correctly?

Or is the calibration in the speedo itself becoming plug and play?

yes, just drop the higher speed dash in. It is calibrated to read as required from the standard sender.

You will of course need to cut the speed input to the ECU or swap ECUs to get around the 180 speed limiter....not that it matters on a public road.

truth, R33 GTR cluster dropped straight into my GTS-T.

and speed input, eh

I went from 180 to 260 Nismo one, have to get used to the different positioning of speeds but apart from that, they run fine.

Ok...... Thanks for that.

I just wanted to make sure it re-calibrates itself and doesn't read weird numbers. :rolleyes:
