Wtb: Chrome Door Trim

Ok so I decided to remove the hideous purple visor things and they came off ok apart from one - drivers side rear passenger. Need a replacement door trim - any ideas where I can find one?

I was considering removing mine when I first got the car, but have found a worthwhile benefit in North Queensland summers. You can leave each window slightly open when parked in the sun, because the weather sheilds are tinted, no-one can see that the windows are down a little, and if it rains, it doesn't get in.. it means the interior of the car only gets to about 50degC during the day instead of about 80deg. I don't think it makes the car less secure, because the amount of effort to break off the weather sheilds probably wouldn't be much less than breaking a window..

The down sides are they still look ugly, and they make the A pillar so wide you can easily lose a car in them if you aren't careful..

and they are a b#@$% to remove. I have tried metho, WD40, turps with little result. I have bought some adhesive remover from bunnings - will see how that goes.

I found to get them off easy I used a hair dryer on high to melt the double sided tape and very gently pry them off then they came off fine and I used that same method to get the excess of the chrome and the plastic and it worked (chrome gets effing hot I discovered).
