OEM RB26 cranks are nitrided from the factory. I assume by the need of 40 thou bearings the crank has been machined in some way (thus removing the hardening the nitride process adds).

Although with that all said, this will let you run the ACL race series bearings: http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=16277&cat=&page=1

I'm asking for trouble ? Really

The crank had to be machined again after my mechanic assembled my motor and damaged it so I had to rebuild again

Can someone please tell me the sump is on allready

LOL, can someone please tell you?

It's like the 4th thread you've started to ask the same question and numerous people have told you. You will end up having problems if you rebuild it with 40thou bearings and you will have problems if you didn't have the crank rehardened.
