Quiet Bov

I just noticed that since getting my car tuned, my BOV (stock plumb back) has gotten really quiet, basically can't hear it. It used to make a fairly loud sound as it dumped air. I'm not really worried about this, the car performs great, but I was just wondering, is this a normal thing, has anyone else noticed anything similar since getting their car tuned?

Tune really wouldn't alter the sound unless you are running less boost or changed some hardware.

have you lost power or notice anything different (for the worse) in the way it drives?

No, not that I can tell. Boost holds strong on the few times I actually give it a boot. I took the BOV off and had a look at it, all seemed fine, nothing broken inside it or anything.

You haven't changed your air intake?

Stock air box does this

I do have a stock air box, this did go in just before the tune. I didn't think of that as I still get a fairly strong induction noise on turbo spool up.

answer your own question lol. with the stock box you never hear the standard bov release as it puts in back into the system , your only hearing it when you have the pod filter because its not restricted
