Michelin Super Sports In Oem Sizes - But Not For Australia :(

Recommended Posts

went through similar ordeal trying to buy specific size bf goodrich tyres for my 4wd, so i just ordered from tirerack

the michelins would work well on stock 20s, get rid of the runflats, much improved ride comfort without them

i would consider them if they made more sizes in 21. but atm the closest fronts are 2.7% out, and my yoki's are 0.0% front and 0.2% out on rear

The US boys have nothing but positive feedback on them. When my stockies are done, definitely going Michelins - and I'll take the added risk of puncture on the chin, vs double the tyre wear rating any day.

the run flat idea is flawed imo anyway - there's no way id drive home on a run flat tyre and scratch the bejesus out of the rim

itd cost less than a wheel repair to just get it flat bed'd home

i carry a small air pump compressor with me that plugs into the cigi lighter - its the same unit that came with my M3

I changed to Michelin PS2 ages ago on my R33 & they transformed the car.

I just recently ditched the pirellis on my E63 and put new Michelin Super Sports on & noticed

a massive improvement to the ride/noise.

My R35 Dunlops are stuffed & I didnt know we could get Michelins in the right size!

These tyres will be awesome, thanks for the heads up. Gonna order some now..................
